Preparation tool (Forberedelsesværktøjet) is a data-gathering platform built for customers and advisors, helping them to prepare better for their upcoming meetings. The dashboard allows customers to self-service when providing their information with Danske Bank in a fast, engaging and transparent way.
Before the first meeting with the advisor, the customers are requested to fill out different widgets that are relevant to the specific case. This information is related to partner, consents, households, property and transportation, expenses, and documents. Each widget is colour-coded and shows the state of what the task is, what it is for, and whether it is completed or not.
There are a few special in-built features that help the customers to finish the process easier and faster. 1) The dynamic pre-filling functionality calculates all the budget information for the user based on their given household details. 2) The consent (Skat and PensionInfo) feature checks if the consent is already given, and if it is not, then it guides the customer on how to share it step by step. 3) The document management allows the customer to upload, delete and review the provided documents within the platform.
Once all widgets are completed, the customers can share their workspace with their advisors. In this way, Danske Bank collects structured data from users and the advisors can start reviewing all the information prior to the first meeting. This results in more productive, efficient consultations between the bank and the customer.
Creating an intuitive customer experience was a priority. Extensive user research and user testing including interviews, surveys, and mapping exercises were a core part of the workflow. We drilled down into every detail, iterating, and testing interactive prototypes with users and teammates to understand behavioural patterns, user flows, and common questions.
